Data as of beginning of the year are final estimates for previous year.
Data on direct investments is based on information of resident legal entities and representative offices of foreign business entities in Ukraine provided in the report, form No. 10-zez (quarterly) “Report on foreign direct investments”, taking into account the administrative information of the National Bank of Ukraine on the market value of direct investments (shares, assets, etc.) of enterprises and organizations, and also, starting from 2015, on direct investments of the banks of Ukraine, which include the amounts of reinvested revenues (calculated based on NBU data on retained earnings/losses according investors' participation in the their capital).
Symbol (с) – data are not published in order to ensure compliance with the requirements of the Law of Ukraine On the State Statistics regarding confidentiality of statistical information. Starting from the first quarter of 2020, the state statistics bodies conduct the state statistical survey on foreign investments according to the methodological regulation approved by the order of the State Statistics Service No.117 dated March 31, 2020. Information formed from this survey are not published by SSSU.The single body responsible for direct investment data dissemination is the National Bank of Ukraine.
