About StatBank of Lvivska oblast

StatBank is a database developed by the Main Department of Statistics in the Lviv Region (Lvivska oblast) to provide users with free access to statistical information via the Internet.

StatBank contains annual and up-to-date statistical information on the socio-economic situation of the Lviv region, which is presented in the form of dynamic tables.

Statistical information is grouped into 21 thematic sections. Each section is presented hierarchically by groups and subgroups. At the same time, you can see all topics in a particular section or a separate group and subgroup. The information is divided into annual data, current (monthly and quarterly) data, and information that is not updated (completed time series).

Along with the names of the topics, the time period for which information is provided and the territorial level for which the information is presented are indicated:

1 – Lviv Region (Lvivska oblast)
2 – district level
3 – cities, urban-type settlements (urban-rural settlements)
4 – villages (rural settlements)

Methodological explanations are given for each thematic section.

You can obtain the presented tables free of charge and adjust them according to the individual needs of users. The tables have a flexible structure, i.e. users can choose time periods and variable attributes (e.g., individual indicators, types of economic activities, territories, etc.). You can view the resulting StatBank tables on your screen or save them in different formats: EXCEL, CSV, ТХТ, and НТML. It is also possible to present data using graphs and charts.

For the convenience of users, there is a search engine that can be used to find the necessary information.

StatBank was implemented using PX–WEB technology, which is a component of the PC–Axis software family. PC–Axis software is an international statistical product used in more than 50 countries around the world to disseminate statistical information. Statistics Sweden is the developer of PX–WEB.
